Bio:

Hilary Douglas is the Program Manager, Global Community Engagement at Stanford University, managing outreach and engagement for Global Risk, which you can find more information about here. Since 2021, she has planned and led outreach, continuing education, and training of the Stanford global community on issues of global risk and mitigation with a focus on independent undergraduate travelers. In her previous position at Stanford’s Haas Center for Public Service, Hilary supported undergraduates participating in unpaid public service internship opportunities around the world.

Prior to joining Stanford, Hilary held various roles with non-profits, AmeriCorps, and travel agencies specifically working with undergraduates engaging in public service and/or traveling abroad. While honing her skills in project management, dynamic presentations, cultivating community partnerships, and balancing stakeholder engagement, Hilary solidified her passion for guiding young adults safely through their early work and world experiences.

Hilary received a Bachelor's degree from University of California, Los Angeles, a Master’s degree from San Francisco State University, holds certifications in Certified Associate in Project Management, and is a member of Pulse International.
