The mission of the Office of the Chief Risk Officer (OCRO) is to provide independent, objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve the operations of Stanford University and the Stanford University Hospitals. Internal Audit (IA) helps these organizations accomplish their objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
