Bio:

Sarah Daniel is a Program Manager for the Office of the Chief Risk Officer (OCRO)’s Global Risk team. Since 2021, she has led the Global Risk function for Stanford’s Graduate School of Business and the Bing Overseas Studies Program.

Prior to joining Stanford, Sarah served in various roles related to International Safety and Security and International Education at Boston University, Harvard University, and the College of William & Mary. She has over 8 years of higher education experience and expertise in global travel risk monitoring and assessment, traveler training and preparation, crisis management, and incident response. She is passionate about enabling enriching educational experiences and has a particular interest in supporting student well-being and mental health.

Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Italian and a Masters of education in Higher Education from the College of William & Mary. She is certified in Mental Health First Aid and is a member of Pulse International and serves on the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) Academic Sector Committee (ASC).
