Bio: 

Ryan Renato Mendoza is a Senior Auditor for the Office of the Chief Risk Officer (OCRO)’s Internal Audit (IA) team, which you can find more information about here. Since September 2016, he has planned and conducted financial, operational and compliance audits, and investigations for the School of Medicine (SOM), Stanford Health Care (SHC) and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital (LPCH).

Prior to joining Stanford, Ryan served as a senior auditor for San Francisco State University and as an internal auditor for the Judicial Council of California. He has over 15 years of internal audit experience planning and conducting compliance, operational, information technology and financial reviews/analyses, investigations and business process reviews.

Ryan has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Information Systems from San Francisco State University. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and is a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), and the Association of Healthcare Internal Auditors (AHIA).
