Bio:

Rachel Myint is a Senior Auditor for the Office of the Chief Risk Officer (OCRO)’s Internal Audit (IA) Team, which you can find more information about here. Her responsibilities include planning and conducting financial, operational, and compliance audits/advisory projects for the University.

Prior to joining the Internal Audit Team, Rachel served as a Post Award Research Accountant at the Office of Research Administration (ORA) for 3 years. She was responsible for establishing accounts in the financial system, reviewing cost transfers for compliance with University and sponsor policies, and preparing financial reports/closeouts for sponsored research projects. Rachel has experience with Stanford systems/Oracle, knowledge of Stanford’s research administration processes, and experience with Uniform Guidance.

Rachel received her Bachelor of Arts in International Business from the University of California, San Diego. She is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), the Association of College and University Auditors (ACUA), and the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA).
