Bio: 

Diana Haven is Director, Liability and Workers’ Compensation at Stanford University. Diana manages Liability and Workers’ Compensation within the office of Risk Management and Insurance, which you can find more information about here. For 17 years at Stanford, Diana has led numerous risk management initiatives and managed complex and high-risk issues, including financial, operational, insurance-related and self insurance program administration and oversight. Diana is a member of the University Risk Management and Insurance Association (URMIA), Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS), Workers’ Compensation Research Institute (WCRI) Advisory Board, and former member of the Stanford Student Enterprises (SSE) Advisory Board.

Prior to joining Stanford, Diana served in various Risk Management roles including with Maximus and the California Dental Association, culminating in over 17 years of experience in Risk Management.

Diana received a Juris Doctorate (JD) from University of the Pacific and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Pepperdine University. She holds certifications as Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Risk Management (ARM).
