Bio: 

Brian is a Director for Stanford University.  Before joining Stanford’s Privacy Office in 2019, Brian was a Director at Cisco, where he had extensive experience leading legal privacy and security efforts, and driving strategic and operational change.  Before that, Brian worked as an independent consultant for technology start-ups, and as a lawyer at the Walt Disney Internet Group and Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. 
Brian is currently on the Board of Directors of Abode Services (a non-profit organization whose mission is to end homelessness), and previously served as a member and the President of the Board of Directors of the Asian Law Alliance.
Brian earned his AB from Stanford University (Human Biology), and JD from Columbia Law School.
