Bio:
Prior to joining Stanford in 2021, Amy most recently served as Director of Student Health and Safety for the Institute for Study Abroad. There, she led and managed the development of people and policies related to emergency management, risk assessment, and student health and safety. Her career has included roles in higher education at the University of Wisconsin and in the federal government, where she led a team at the DHS dedicated to security and threat assessment. Amy hold an MA in Linguistics and in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and has studied German and Arabic.
